Why I added it to my routine

Ringana’s Cleansing Water quickly became a staple in my routine, right next to their Cleanser. I mostly use it in the evening, as a second cleansing step, when I need that extra feeling of freshness after using the Cleanser (you can also read my full review of the Ringana Cleanser). It really feels like the perfect fit for combination to oily skin types, and I’ll explain a bit more about that further down. It’s a product that instantly gave me that feeling of clean comfort without drying out my skin or irritating any areas. From the very first use, I could tell it would become a regular part of my routine.

What I loved from the very start was how incredibly gentle it is

I’ve never felt any tightness or discomfort—not even near the delicate eye area. My skin is combination, with an oilier T-zone and drier cheeks, and this product has never caused any irritation or imbalance. Unlike some store-bought micellar waters that leave your skin stinging or stripped, this formula uses ultra-mild sugar-based surfactants, with no alcohol and no harsh additives. If you have very dry skin, you might occasionally feel a slight tightness after use. If that’s your case, here are two helpful tips:

  • Gently wipe your face with a damp cloth right after applying it to remove any excess product and soften your skin
  • Use it occasionally as needed, when you want a refreshing sensation similar to micellar water
In general, I’d absolutely recommend it for oily or combination skin types, or to anyone who enjoys the double-cleansing method and wants to go to bed with clean, fresh skin.

What I particularly love

  • The instant burst of freshness—it’s my go-to after long or hot days.
  • How well it removes leftover residue, especially around the eyes. It’s the perfect follow-up to the Cleanser.
  • The light, fluid texture that still contains powerful plant-based ingredients.

A formula designed for combination and oily skin types (but not only)

This formula includes:

  • Fresh aloe vera juice and cherry blossom water to calm and deeply hydrate
  • Witch hazel, a well-known astringent that helps purify and tighten pores
  • A variety of botanical extracts (hibiscus, thyme, St. John’s wort, cypress, horsetail…) that soothe, reinforce the skin, and improve overall texture
  • Lactic ferments and hyaluronic acid for deep hydration that stays lightweight and non-greasy

It’s all 100% naturally derived, with 80.4% of the ingredients from certified organic farming, and it’s COSMOS ORGANIC certified. The texture is light and watery but doesn’t feel like plain water—it’s a real treatment packed with targeted active ingredients that support skin balance and clarity, especially when used consistently as part of your evening routine.

How I use it

I mainly use it at night, just after applying the Cleanser, because I really enjoy the feeling of a complete cleanse before bed. It gives me that final fresh touch that feels so comforting and clean before sleep. It’s also perfectly safe to use around the eyes—there’s no stinging or rubbing required. It’s become one of those simple but essential steps in my nighttime routine that I now wouldn’t want to skip. It’s effective, pleasant to use, and leaves my skin calm and clear.

Final thoughts

For me, the Ringana Cleansing Water isn’t just a toner or an in-between step—it’s a skincare product in its own right. It delivers comfort, clarity, and a fresh finish without any extras or gimmicks. What I really admire about Ringana is their philosophy: simple, clean formulas, transparent ingredient lists, and true attention to quality. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a gentle yet purifying product that makes your skin feel refreshed and balanced. If your skin is combination, oily, or breakout-prone, it’s an excellent option. But even dry skin types can benefit from it when used sparingly and adjusted to suit their needs.
